Hygieneering, has partnered with Square D to provide your organization with the information you need to understand the dangers of arc flash and what you can do to improve electrical workplace safety. Hygieneering's "Safety and Industrial Hygiene Services: now includes Arc Flash Training and on-site Electrical Equipment Analysis. This new service uses Square D's trained experts to familiarize you with arc flash incidents, recommendations for mitigating risk and current guidelines to help train your employees and ensure your facilities meet current standards.

Arc Flash Analysis
Our team can assist you in the determination of arc flash incident energy levels and boundary distances by performing an arc flash analysis. The energy level provides an understanding of the potential arc incident energy and boundary distances provide guidance as to the range of a potential event. A short circuit coordination study may also be performed as required.
Arc Flash Assessment
We will assist you in determining what your facility must do to comply with the National Fire Protection Association guidelines (NFPA 70E) that are being enforced by Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) during their inspections. The assessment could include: Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) category requirements, labeling recommendations, potential arc flash incident energy levels, flash protection bounary distances, NFPA 70 interpretation.
Worker Training
On-site training, provided at your facility will educate your employees and any outside electrical contractors you use about the dangers of arc flash and how to follow the NFPA workplace safety guidelines.
