Hygieneering, Inc. Announces Business Reorganization

CHICAGO - May 27, 2015 - Hygieneering, Inc. (HYG) has announced a business reorganization to promote further growth in the industry and to foster strategic management of client services.


The following executive moves became effective May 1, 2015:


The appointment of John G. Feller, CIH, CSP, as President. Feller joined HYG 18 years ago and rose through the organization to become Senior Vice President of Business Consulting Operations.




The promotion of Kevin M. Konkey, CSP, to Vice President of Safety & Industrial Hygiene. Konkey also joined HYG 18 years ago and previously served as Director of Safety & Industrial Hygiene.




Margaret Guidarelli, CIH, will maintain the role of founder and COO as the professional Environmental, Industrial Hygiene and Safety Consulting firm enters its 29th year of outstanding client service.


Under the firm's new structure, John Feller will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage teams and continue to grow the client portfolio, while Guidarelli shapes the vision and strategic direction of the company she founded in 1987 with her brothers, Matt and George Guidarelli.


Today, Hygieneering has over 40 employees and is known nationally for its consistent competence to deliver innovative, business friendly, compliant (OSHA, DNR, DOT, EPA) environmental health and safety solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing, food, energy, petrochemical, healthcare, financial and real estate sectors as well as in the academic market.


Other promotions of credentialed, accomplished team members announced include:

  • Shane Stewart to Associate Director of Process Safety Management Services

  • Rich Zych to Associate Director of EHS Services

  • Laura Carta to Manager of Financial Services

  • Valerie Hofmann, CHMM, to Senior Consultant

  • Jeanine Carbonaro to Sr. IH/Safety and Marketing Coordinator

  • Jodi Bates to Manager of IT/Employee Communications
