INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE FIELD TECHNICIAN (ASBESTOS, LEAD & AIR MONITORING)

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety or other relevant majors, is a plus
• 2 years’ experience performing asbestos and lead inspections/industrial hygiene sampling
• IDPH Asbestos Inspector, Project Manager and Air Sampling Professional Licenses
• Must be able to pass EPA training and obtain state asbestos licensing
• Willingness to learn and become fluent in regulatory requirements – EPA and OSHA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read piping diagrams and/or blueprints
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record (required)

Basic Qualifications:

• Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction and/or General Industry, First Aid/CPR/AED, with advanced credentials such as CSP, ASP, CHST, COSS, CIH, CHMM, OHST, or related certifications preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of field-based EHS experience, with demonstrated success implementing and enforcing safety programs.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with employees, contractors, supervisors, and client management teams.
• Flexibility: Availability for short-term assignments, long-term projects, travel assignments, or emergency-response support.
• Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
