On September 13, 2016, Kim Carter, ASP, Senior Health and Safety Consultant for Hygieneering, presented on the details of the new OSHA Silica regulation in the construction industry: 29 CFR 1926.1153 Respirable Crystalline Silica.
John Feller CIH, CSP, President of Hygieneering, presented the results of personal air monitoring of respirable crystalline silica that were collected during various construction tasks at an (Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency) IRMA member job site location. In attendance were numerous IRMA members from approximately 12 different villages/cities.
